POWER WINDOW REGULATOR REPAIR
If you encounter an inoperative XT power window and all electrical controlling devices are operating properly, the problem may be a worn upper corner
cable guide clip. Use the following procedure to install a new cable and clip assembly.
The modified upper corner clip has been used in production since March 21, 1987 beginning with XT VIN 313671.

Removal & Disassembly of the Power Window Regulator Assembly
REMOVAL OF POWER WINDOW REGULATOR ASSEMBLY
Remove the regulator assembly according to the applicable service manual.

DISASSEMBLY OF THE REGULATOR ASSEMBLY

Using a phillips screwdriver remove the three retaining screws which hold the regulator motor in place and remove the motor.
