With the front headliner trim removed, install a piece of electrical tape on the section which mates with the roof frame above the "B" pillar.
(See Figure 3).

4)

Reinstall the headliner trim panel, making sure that no tape is showing after the trim is installed.

5)

Reinstall the "A" pillar panel, "B" pillar panel, and the "C" quarter pillar panel.

6)

Road test the vehicle to ensure that the noise has been eliminated.

This procedure can be claimed under Operation #913-241 for one side or Operation #913-245 for both sides.

The time allotted for these operations is as follows:
