REAR WINDOW DEFOGGER OPERATION
THIS BULLETIN IS FOR INFORMATION ONLY
The rear window defogger circuit in 3-Door Coupe models has a timer unit. The defogger system operates for approximately 18 minutes after the mode
switch is turned on, then, it shuts off automatically. At the same time, the indicator lights on the switch and instrument panel go off. The mode switch will
not return to the "off" position by itself.
To turn the defogger on again, depress the mode button to the "off" position then press it to the "on" position. (The indicator and instrument panel lights
will illuminate again.) For information on wiring and trouble shooting, see the applicable Subaru Service Manual.
