1.

Ensure that ignition timing is correct.

2.

Ensure that all vacuum hoses are secure and in good condition.

3.

Disconnect and plug EVAP system purge hose to throttle body.

4.

Completely warm up engine and ensure ignition timing is set to specification. Hook up tachometer.

5.

Adjust idle speed by turning idle speed adjusting screw (# 41 in illustration).

M/T 700± 100 rpm in neutral
A/T 800± 100 rpm in neutral
