The Sherwin-Williams topcoat system for Subaru bumpers.
All systems require the use of plastic primer (P3C24) for adhesion to the bumper. The following is the Sherwin-Williams recommendation for refinishing
a replacement bumper:
1.
Solvent clean bumper with R7K156 (Sher-Will-Clean)
2.
Allow to dry and prime area to be painted with P3C24 according to label directions.
3.
Topcoat with one of the following systems:

These topcoat systems are listed in order of decreasing impact resistance).
A.
Acrylyd acrylic enamel + V6V241 + V6V299.
B.
Acrylyd acrylic enamel + V6V299.
C.
Acrylic lacquer + V6V299
D.
Acrylyd acrylic enamel + V6V241
