Rear Center Seat Belt Installation Procedures

INTRODUCTION

Variations in rear seat designs and different seat belt lengths allow for variations in installation. This bulletin is to clarify the differences in seat cushion
designs and available seat belts to provide the correct installation procedure for each as improper installation could compromise the operation of the seat
belts.

REPAIR PROCEDURE/INFORMATION

1.

Content:

There are two types of rear center seat belts and two styles of rear cushions. Depending on their combinations, installation method is different. If
you remove/replace a belt or seat cushion, please check them and use the appropriate repair procedure.

2.

Parts difference:

Depending on the seat cushion, there may or may not be a slot in the seat cushion back for the seat belts to pass through.
