Legacy Brighton Wagon AWD F4-2.5L SOHC (2000)
Tightening torque: 12 ± 3 Nm (1.2 ± 0.3 kg-m, 8.7 ± 2.2 ft. lbs.)
Rocking torque: 0.7 Nm (0.07 kg-m, 0.5 ft. lbs.) or less
10. Check that there is no excessive play and that parts move smoothly.
E: INSTALLATION
1. Put into gear shift lever from passenger compartment.
2. Mount plate on the body.
3. Install console box and gear shift knob.
4. Mount cushion rubber (A) on the body.
Tightening torque: 18 ± 5 Nm (1.8 ± 0.5 kg-m, 13.0 ± 3.6 ft. lbs.)
5. Connect rod (A) to the joint.
Tightening torque: 18 ± 5 Nm (1.8 ± 0.5 kg-m, 13.0 ± 3.6 ft. lbs.)
6. Connect stay to the bracket.
Tightening torque: 18 ± 5 Nm (1.8 ± 0.51 kg-m, 13.0 ± 3.6 ft. lbs.)
7. Install the exhaust cover.
