Trunk/Liftgate Sensor/Switch (For Alarm): Description and Operation
KEY CYLINDER SWITCH/TAMPER SWITCH
The key cylinder switch detects the turning of key cylinder.
When the door or trunk lid (or rear gate) is opened in armed state before unlock switch of this switch turns ON, the security system recognizes the
emergency and turns to alarm state.
This switch is installed on each door key cylinder and trunk lid (or rear gate) key cylinder.
The tamper switch is built-in each key cylinder switch.
The tamper switch detects the impacts that drives in or plucks off activation to the key cylinder.
These switches are installed to each door key cylinder (driver and passenger) and trunk lid (or rear gate) key cylinder.
