Valve Clearance: Testing and Inspection
INSPECTION
CAUTION: Inspection and Adjustment of valve clearance should be preformed while engine is cold.

Set the Vehicle onto Lift.

Lift-up Vehicle.

Remove Under Door.
4
Disconnect Battery ground cable.
5
Lower the vehicle.
6
Remove timing belt cover (LH).
7
Remove rocker door.
8
When Inspecting #1 and #3 cylinders;
a
Remove bolt which secures air intake duct to radiator panel side.
b
Remove air intake duct as unit.
