Throttle Full Close Switch: Adjustments

Throttle Sensor Adjustment

1.

Connect a continuity meter between terminals 1 and 2 of the throttle sensor as shown.

2.

Hold throttle closed.

3.

Continuity should be present.

4.

Insert 0.028 in (0.7 mm) feeler gauge between stopper screw and stopper (portion G).

5.

Continuity should still be present.

6.

Remove 0.028 in (0.7 mm) feeler gauge, and insert a 0.035 in (0.9mm) gauge.

7.

Continuity should not be present.

8.

Is readings are not as specified, loosen throttle sensor securing screws and rotate sensor until reading can be achieved.
