Fuel Filter: Description and Operation
Fuel Filter
PURPOSE
Filters dirt and sediment, and to some extent, seperates water from the fuel.
LOCATION
On the L.H. side of the enigine compartment.
CONSTRUCTION
The fuel filter uses a pressure withstanding, cartridge design. It has a filter element built into the metal case. Fuel flows from the permimeter of the
element to the interior of the filter, then to the fuel injection rails.
