Disc Brake Caliper Support (holder) Hardware
INTRODUCTION
This bulletin is for information purposes only.
To standardize production with the B9 Tribeca, the following changes were made to the Legacy and Outback vehicles:

The front disc brake caliper support (holder) hardware was changed from a bolt assembly (bolt and washer) to a flange bolt along with the torque
specification Also, the portion of the axle housing that the flange bolt contacts has been chamfered.

The rear disc brake caliper support (holder) hardware was not changed, only the torque specification
PRODUCTION LINE CHANGE, FRONT
The flange bolt and new torque specification was used in production starting in September, 2006 with the VINs shown.
PRODUCTION LINE CHANGE, REAR
The new torque specification was used in production starting in August, 2006 with the VINs shown.
