Outback F4-2.5L DOHC Turbo (2006)
1)
Measure the gap between the rear gate and combination lamps.
2)
The rear gate striker position can be slightly adjusted to improve the fit. Note: While adjusting striker, make sure to wear safety glasses.
3)
If striker appears to be loose after adjustment remove the trim cover and re-torque bolts to 25 +/- 5 N-m (2.5 +/- 0.5 kgf-m, 18.4+/- 3.7 ft-lb)
REAR GATE RUBBER STOPPER & SPACER REPLACEMENT
1)
Remove the 2 rear gate robber stoppers.
