Suspension Control ( Automatic - Electronic ): Component Tests and General Diagnostics
A1 - Air Line Leakage Above Strut Mount
Inspect lines and joints for air leak, using a soap and water solution. Ensure soap solution does not enter bearings on strut mount.
A2 - Air Line Leak
Check air tubes and joints in air line for leakage. Check compressor assembly and air discharge solenoid valve seat for leakage.
A3 - Pressure Switch
Check pressure switch for proper operating pressure. Pressure should be 137 psi with switch off or 109 psi with switch on.
A4 - Air Leakage at Suspension Assembly
Remove front or rear suspension assembly, then apply air pressure. Place suspension assembly into water, then check for air leaks. Do not allow
water to enter strut mount bearing. After checking for leakage, remove excess water from assembly using compressed air.
A5 - Air Tank Leakage
Remove air tank assembly, then apply compressed air to tank by connecting suitable a 12 volt source to tank solenoid valve and compressor relay.
Place tank assembly in water, then check for leakage.
