Carefully remove the cruise control switch cover (see Fig 3 and 4).

Install a piece of non-woven material (5 mm x 10 mm x 0.35 mm thick) onto the cruise control switch cover where it comes in contact with the
printed circuit board (see Fig 5).

Reinstall the cruise control switch cover.
6)
Reinstall the steering wheel (refer back to the applicable Subaru Service Manual).
NOTE:
After reconnecting the battery, re-set radio stations.

Confirm that the noise is eliminated and cruise control functions properly.
