Disconnect the wire connector from the terminal of the rear window defogger (driver's side). Connect the radio cord assembly between the rear
window defogger terminal and the connector.

Remove the bolt from the rear wiper motor bracket (motor end) and install the round terminal end of the radio cord assembly and reinstall the bolt.

Note:

To ensure proper grounding, loosen and tighten the bolt four to five times to remove any paint on the threads. Afterwards, apply a small
amount of grease to the threads to prevent rust.

Secure the radio cord assembly in place by using insulation tape as shown in Figure 3.

Reinstall rear gate trim panel.
