Wheel Hub: Service and Repair
Rear

TOOL REQUIRED

28099PA080 Hub Stand

^

28099PA050 Hub Remover "REAR"

^

28099PA060 Housing Stand "REAR"

^

927100000 Bearing Puller "REAR"

^

28099PA070 Oil Seal Installer "REAR"

^

927120000 Hub Installer "REAR"

NOTE:  Housing must be removed prior to this procedure.

DISASSEMBLE 

1. Using hub stand and hub remover "REAR", remove hub completely from rear housing. If inner bearing race remains in the hub, remove it with a

suitable tool (commercially available). 
a. Be careful not to scratch polished area of hub. 
b. Be sure to install inner race on the side of outer race from which it was removed. 

2. Remove back plate from rear housing.
3. Using a standard screwdriver, remove outer and inner oil seals. Use new oil seals.
