Turn radio power switch on to extend antenna.

4.

Remove the mast retaining nut, antenna base and gasket (save for later reassembly).

5.

Disconnect the power antenna connector (white, 3 pin) between antenna motor and vehicle harness - DO NOT REMOVE THE MOTOR
ASSEMBLY FROM THE VEHICLE).

6.

Grasp the antenna mast close to the base and firmly pull up until the nylon cable is exposed.

7.

Remove the antenna mast from the shaft. Save the mast retaining sleeve and sleeve seals for later reassembly.

8.

Remove the white nylon cable from the shaft by pulling firmly up.

Installation of the replacement mast.

9.

Insert the ball end of the replacement antenna nylon cable into the shaft until the ball "SNAPS" into the plastic cable retainer (not shown). Pull
lightly on the cable to verify the ball is secured.

10.

Reconnect the power antenna white electrical connector.

11.

READ ENTIRE STEP # 11 BEFORE PROCEEDING. Turn the radio power off while feeding the antenna cable and replacement into the shaft.
CAUTION - THE CABLE WILL BEGIN TO "REEL IN" AS SOON AS THE POWER IS TURNED OFF.

12.

Reinstall the mast retaining sleeve and sleeve seals.

13.

Turn radio on and off several times to set mast position and to verify correct antenna function.

14.

Replace antenna bass gasket and tighten the retaining nut.

15.

Replace the wheel well cover.
