After all repairs are completed, verify proper operation of the system by confirming the "Air Bag" check warning light located on the dash will
illuminate when the ignition switch is turned on. The light should remain illuminated for 8 seconds and then go out. Verify that the light remains
out for at least 30 seconds. If the light remains illuminated longer than 8 seconds or comes on after 30 seconds, a problem remains within the
system and must be corrected. Refer to the applicable section of the Subaru Service Manual for testing and diagnosis procedures.
