Turn the lever gear to the left and locate screw B.  Using a ratcheting Phillips screwdriver carefully remove screw B by:

Loosening the initial tension of the screw

Using fingers to remove the screw.  See Figure 4.

NOTE: DO NOT DROP THE SCREW.

Remove the lever gear and transfer the lever holder to the new lever gear. See Figure 5.
