Tighten the seven flange bolts to their specified torque. (See Figure 2).

Ensure the catalyst shields do not rattle by tapping it with a rubber mallet.

9)

With the two (2) exhaust gaskets supplied, install the front catalyst pipe onto the vehicle according to Section 2-9, Page 4 of the 1985 or 1986
Service Manual, after confirming that it is noise-free.

10)

Lower the vehicle.

11)

Reconnect the O2 Sensor wire.

12)

Run the vehicle to ensure that the exhaust system has no leaks or rattles.

The Flat Rate allowance under the 12 Month Unlimited Mileage Warranty is 0.5 Hrs. using Operation # A 112-921 (Failure Code EAA-48)
