Rear (M226 Type)

AXLE SHAFT / BEARING 

Removal and Installation 

CAUTION: Before removing the axle shaft, remove the ABS sensor to reposition the ABS sensor out of the way. Failure to do so may result
in damage to the ABS sensor and cause the ABS sensor to become inoperative. 

REMOVAL 

1. Remove the ABS sensor and position out of the way. 
2. Remove the rear brake rotor. 
3. Remove the parking brake assembly from the back plate and torque member.
