Intake Air Temperature Sensor: Testing and Inspection

INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE (IAT SENSOR)

INSPECTION

Immerse temperature sensing part of AT sensor in water (or ice) and measure resistance between sensor terminals white heating water gradually.
If measured resistance doesn't show such characteristic as shown in figure, replace IAT sensor.
