Camshaft: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect negative cable at battery.
2. Remove timing belt.

3. Remove camshaft timing belt pulley by using special tool.

Special Tool (A): 09917-68220

4. Remove cylinder head cover.

5. Remove ignition coils and then CMP sensor case from cylinder head with CMP sensor coupler disconnected. Place a container or rag under CMP

sensor case, for a small amount of oil flows out during removal of case.
