Crankshaft Position (CKP) Sensor On-Vehicle Inspection

CKP (Crankshaft Position) Sensor On-Vehicle Inspection

1. Disconnect connector of CKP sensor.
2. Turn ignition switch to ON position and check that voltage of CKP sensor connector (vehicle side) between terminals "1" and "2" is battery

voltage.
If faulty condition is found, check power supply circuit, ground circuit and connections.

3. Check that CKP sensor signal is output properly. If faulty condition is found, check the following.
