Canister Purge Solenoid: Service and Repair
EVAP Canister Vent Solenoid Valve Removal and Installation
Removal
1. Remove EVAP canister and EVAP canister vent solenoid valve as an assembly referring to EVAP Canister Removal and Installation:N32A.
2. Remove EVAP canister vent solenoid valve (1) from EVAP canister (2).
Installation
For installation, reverse removal procedure noting the following.

Apply gasoline to O-ring of EVAP canister vent solenoid valve.

Tighten EVAP canister vent solenoid valve bolts (1) to specified torque.
Tightening torque
EVAP canister vent solenoid valve bolt (a): 5.5 N-m (0.55 kg-m, 4.0 lbf-ft)
