Connect positive (+) cable of 12 V battery to "A" terminal of sensor (1) and negative (-) cable to "C" terminal of sensor (1). Then using voltmeter,
check voltage between "B" and "C" terminals. If measured voltage is not as specified, replace sensor with bracket.
G sensor specification:
When placed horizontally [A]: 2 - 3 V
When placed upright with arrow upward [B]: 3 - 4 V When placed upright with arrow downward [C]: 1 - 2 V
INSTALLATION
1. Connect connector to sensor securely.
2. Install sensor (1) with bracket (2) and parking lever assembly (3) onto floor so that arrow mark of G sensor (1) directs vehicle forward (4).
Tightening torque
Parking lever assembly mounting bolt (a): 23 Nm (2.3 kg-m, 17.0 ft. lbs.)
3. Install rear console box.
