4. If there is not a paint indicator/marking, please replace the Throttle Body assembly (*) according to the Service Manual replacement procedure, and
then proceed to step 5.

Throttle Body replacement requires DOM authorization prior to repairs being made.
5. Make note of the customers radio presets, disconnect the negative battery terminal.
6. Inspect the harness connectors at the ETC (Electronic Throttle Control) and the ECM (Engine Control Module), shown in Fig 3, for any damage
and/or improper seating/fastening.
7. If no damage is found on the connectors, disconnect the harness at both locations and inspect the pin locations indicated in Fig 4, looking for
bent/deformed terminals, corrosion, etc., and clean or repair as needed and proceed to step 8.
