Remove the two front bolts and the two rear nuts that secure the gear shifter assembly to the floor.

Rotate the gear shift assembly toward the driver side. Remove the two selector lever solenoid screws indicated.

NOTE:

The airbag harness will allow the selector assembly enough movement to get to the two screws that secure the solenoid.

10.

Unplug and remove the harness connector by releasing the anchor. The solenoid, park position switch and connector should now be removed as an
assembly.
