Pick-Up Coil: Testing and Inspection

1.
Check base plate for smooth rotation. Replace base plate if faulty.

Remove dust cover from module and disconnect red and white wires, Fig. 2.
3.
Connect ohmmeter to red and white wires and measure resistance. Pickup coil resistance should be 130-190 ohms. Replace pickup coil if
resistance is not within specification.
4.
Connect red and white wires to igniter and install dust cover.
