1989 (Beginning 7/88 production)
The Samurai used to be shipped from the factory with the free wheel hubs set to "LOCK" position. In the future this setting will be changed, for both the
Sidekick and the Samurai, to the "FREE" position to eliminate the trouble of resetting previously required at the time of delivery.
NOTE:
Before delivering each car, check that both hubs on the right and left a reset to the "FREE" position. Set them to the "LOCK" position when used in
adverse weather conditions.
