Evaporative Emission Control Canister: Testing and Inspection

 Do not inhale fuel vapor inside canister.

1.

Disconnect hoses from canister.

2.

Blow air into port A. Air should pass through ports B and C with no restriction.

3.

Blow air into port B. Air should not pass through ports A or C.

4.

If air flow is not as specified in steps 3 or 4, replace the canister.

5.

Reconnect hoses to canister.
