When setting pinion depth on the Sidekick front differential assembly the pinion mounting dummy (special tool p/n 09926-78310) may require
modification. The modified tool can be used for the front and rear differentials of all Sidekick and Samurai vehicles. Please reference the illustrations to
identify a modified pinion mounting dummy.
All future orders for the special tool set will include the modified bevel pinion. The modified bevel pinion is available separately to update existing
special tool kits.
