Throttle Body - Exploded View
AIR VALVE INSPECTION
NOTE: Be very careful to prevent water from entering throttle body bore. Be very careful never to put throttle body parts except air valve thermo
wax in water or expose them to water splash.
Inspecting Air Valve
- Engine must be cold (below 60° C, 140° F).
- Remove air valve cap.
- Air valve should be open.
- Re-install air valve cap.
- Warm engine to operating temperature.
- Remove air valve cap.
- Air valve should be closed.
- Replace air valve if operation differs.
