Wheel Speed Sensor: Testing and Inspection
1.
Raise and support vehicle, then remove sensor cover.
2.
Disconnect coupler.
3.
Using an ohmmeter, check resistance between sensor terminals, and between terminal and sensor body.
4.
Resistance between terminals should be 1282.5--1567.5 ohms at 77°F.
5.
Resistance between terminal and sensor body should be 100,000 ohms.
6.
Replace wheel sensor if resistance is not as specified.
