Main Control Unit
(1994-1995 p/n 99980-46060-001; 1996 p/n 99980-46061-001)
1.
Main control unit is located on the passenger side behind the glove box. Remove the glovebox.
2.
For 1995 vehicles, cut the two tie-wrap cables holding the main control unit in place. For 1996 vehicles, cut the single tie-wrap cable
holding the main control unit in place. Be sure not to damage the foam pad on the bottom of the controller.
3.
Remove the 12-pin wire harness from the main control unit. Be careful not to cut any wires. (With power door locks: Remove the blue 2-pin
connector from the main control unit.)
4.
Replace the main control unit with the new control unit, installing two new tie-wrap cables to hold it in place.
5.
Reconnect the wiring harness to the main control unit.
6.
Re-install the glove box.
7.
Re-program the remote transmitters.

(1994-1995 vehicles: p/n 99980-46060-002; 1996 vehicles: p/n 99980-46061-002)
1.
After replacing the remote control transmitter, you must program the new transmitters with the main control unit.
2.
Programming procedure:
a.
Flip the valet/override switch to the "ON" position.
b.
With the key in the ignition, turn the ignition "ON", then "OFF".
c.
Flip the valet override switch "OFF", then ON/OFF twice. You will hear a confirming siren chirp.
d.
Turn the ignition switch ON/OFF twice. You will hear a confirming siren chirp.
e.
You are now in the programming mode. Secure both new transmitters. Push the green button on transmitter # 1. Within five seconds,
push the green button on transmitter # 2. You will hear confirming siren chirps after programming each transmitter.
f.
After five seconds, the programming mode will close automatically.

Remove RH speaker cover and glove box pivot pin.
