This bulletin is to inform you of the availability of manual free wheel hubs for the 1992 and later 4-door Sidekick, 1996 Sidekick Sport, and X-90. These
vehicles come factory equipped with automatic free wheel hubs. In order to tow these vehicles with all four wheels on the ground, these hubs must be
replaced with manual free wheel hubs to prevent four-wheel drive engagement and possible damage to the vehicle's drivetrain. Please refer to the owner's
manual for proper towing procedures.
The part number of the manual free wheel hub assembly is 43800-60811. Be sure to order two (2) assemblies (one for each side) for each vehicle.
