NON-TILT STEERING TYPE Remove steering column cover, loosen two steering column bolts but do not remove them, then lower the
steering column.

For vehicles equipped with cancel switch, remove it prior to removing combination meter, to allow enough slack in the harness to pull out
combination meter.
7.
Remove meter cluster hood (1).
8.
Remove combination meter screws (4).
9.
Disconnect combination meter wiring couplers (5) and speedometer cable (6) from combination meter.
10.
Pull the end of speedometer cable into passenger side.
11.
Detach speedometer cable end from transfer case and pull the cable into engine compartment to remove it.
