On Sidekick, disconnect noise suppressor coupler and connect adapter wire between suppressor and coupler, then install tachometer, Fig. 8.

On Samurai, install tachometer.

On all models, Turn ignition On and wait five seconds. Start engine and run at 2000 RPM for five minutes to warm engine, then allow engine to
idle.

Inspect ISC duty and idle speed, refer to ``Tune Up Specifications'' for idle speed specifications. If ISC duty or idle speed is not within
specifications, adjust by turning idle speed adjusting screw, Fig. 9.
