1.
Raise and support vehicle. Remove wheel.
2.
Remove wheel hub as outlined under WHEEL HUB & BEARING.
3.
Using suitable jack, support lower arm, then disconnect tie rod end from knuckle using tie rod remover Fig. 11.
4.
Remove ball stud nut, then strut bracket bolts from strut bracket.
5.
Remove steering knuckle from ball stud by tapping with hammer.
6.
While lowering jack, remove knuckle and wheel spindle assembly.
7.
Remove oil seal, dust cover and wheel spindle from steering knuckle.
8.
Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Coat mating surface of wheel spindle and steering knuckle with Suzuki Bond No. 1215 or equivalent.
b. Fill in spindle recess and knuckle seal recess with Suzuki Lithium Grease No. 99000-25010 or equivalent.

c. Drive in knuckle oil seal until its end contacts stepped surface of knuckle using tools shown in Fig. 12.
d. Torque to specifications.
