Throttle Body: Service and Repair

Removal 
1) Disconnect negative cable at battery.
2) Drain cooling system.

3) Remove throttle cover and disconnect accelerator cable and A/T kickdown cable (3 A/T model) or A/T throttle cable (4 A/T model) from 

throttle body.

4) Remove air intake pipe and hose.

5) Disconnect electric coupler from TP sensor.
6) Disconnect vacuum hose from throttle body.
7) Disconnect cooling water hoses from throttle body.
8) Remove throttle body from surge tank (intake manifold).

Cleaning
Clean passages by blowing compressed air.
