Apply power steering fluid to the 0-rings and install them onto the pump body.

4.

Install the side plate to the pump body.

NOTE:

Carefully align the dowel pins on the side plate at a 45° angle, as shown in figure.

5.

Apply power steering fluid to the siding surface of the rotor.

6.

Install the rotor onto the shaft.

7.

Install a new snap ring to the shaft, ensuring that it fits securely into the shaft groove.

NOTE:

Never reuse the removed snap ring.
