11. Install shift control lever (1) and check to make sure that it shifts smoothly according to shift pattern as shown in figure.
NOTE:

Apply thread lock cement to control lever locating bolts (2) when replaced.

Be sure to apply sealant to mating surface of gear shift lever case (3) for its final installation.
