Brake Caliper: Service and Repair
Rear
Removal/Installation
1.
Raise and support vehicle, then remove wheels.
2.
Remove brake hose mounting bolt from caliper. Drain any brake fluid into suitable container.
3.
Release parking brake lever and remove caliper pin bolts.
4.
Remove caliper from carrier, then parking brake cable retaining clip.
5.
Disconnect parking brake cable from camshaft lever on caliper, then remove cover.
6.
Reverse procedure to install.
