Idle Speed/Throttle Actuator - Electronic: Testing and Inspection
1.
With ignition Off, disconnect ISC valve connector.
2.
Ensure resistance between terminals of component is 30--33 ohms. If not within specification, replace.
3.
Warm engine to normal operating temperature.
4.
With engine running and ISC valve disconnected, remove hose from underside of valve. Ensure air is not drawn into valve.
5.
With engine running and ISC valve disconnected, remove hose from underside of valve, connect 12 volts to valve terminals and ensure air is
drawn into valve.
6.
If result is not satisfactory, replace valve.
