c. Depress brake pedal several times, and then while holding it depressed, loosen bleeder plug about one-third to one-half turn.
d. When fluid pressure in the cylinder is almost depleted, retighten bleeder plug.
e. Repeat this operation until there are no more air bubbles in hydraulic line.
f.
When bubbles stop, depress and hold brake pedal and tighten bleeder plug (b): to a torque of 9 - 13 Nm (7.0 - 9.0 ft. lbs.).
g. Then attach bleeder plug cap.
h. After completing bleeding operation, apply fluid pressure to pipe line and check for leakage.
i.
Replenish fluid into reservoir up to specified level.
j.
Check brake pedal for "sponginess". If found spongy, repeat entire procedure of bleeding.
9. Perform above Steps 1 to 7 again to bleed air from ABS actuator assembly.
10. Road test the vehicle. Make several normal (non ABS) stops from a moderate speed to ensure proper brake system function.
