When using SUZUKI scan tool:
1. Connect SUZUKI scan tool to DLC with ignition switch OFF
2. Select "Data List" mode on SUZUKI scan tool.
3. Observe TP sensor voltage.

When using voltmeter:
1. Remove ECM as previously outlined and with couplers connected to ECM, connect digital type voltmeter as shown.

Turn TP sensor clockwise or counterclockwise and tighten TP sensor screw at a position where voltage as specified below is obtained.
TP sensor voltage when lever-to-stop screw clearance is
3.5mm (0.14in.) : 0.98 - 1.02V
Tightening Torque (a):
1.6 - 2.4 Nm (0.16 - 0.24 kg-m, 1.2 - 1.7 lb-ft)

Install ECM and connect couplers securely.
