8.

Remove the shift lock solenoid assembly from the housing.

INSTALLATION

1.

Loosen the location spring screw.

2.

With the selector lever in the "N" position, install the solenoid assembly to the housing.

NOTE:

The new shift lock solenoid assembly is shipped from the factory with the release cam held into place by the lock pin. Do not remove the lock pin in
this step.
