Check Transmission Range Switch referring to step 1 of DTC P0705 Flow Chart.
NOTE: Separately from the DTC P0705 Diagnostic chart, the transmission range switch itself can be checked for continuity in each shift position.
Refer to the accompanying table for connection and lead wire color.
