Power Steering Pump: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
1. Remove fender apron extension on right side, loosen belt tension pulley and remove P/S V-ribbed belt.
2. Disconnect high pressure hose and low pressure hose.
CAUTION: Take care not to cause damage to A/C condenser if equipped.
NOTE: In case of A/C equipped vehicles, high pressure hose cannot be disconnected as it is in contact with A/C condenser. Therefore, it must be
disconnected from pump connector when removing oil pump.
3. Disconnect pressure switch lead harness.
